“Whoever uses the spirit that is in him creatively is an artist. To make living itself an art, that is the goal.”
-Henry Miller
Such a beautiful sentiment- To make living itself an art. It’s the constant thought the circulates my mind these days. As this new year and decade welcomes us, I hope to truly make an art of living. The other day I jotted down notes about what I want more in 2020:
-To cook more, seasonally.
-To create more art- not take mindless photos.
-To explore more beautiful places (to travel more)
-To simplify dressing well (more on that to come).
-To Paint more.
-A home to host more intimate dinners.
-To drink better wine.
-To create more meaningful relationships- and strengthen those I value.
-To embrace turning 30. This new personal decade for me. As a Mother. Daughter. Partner. Entrepreneur. All around woman.
-To french kiss every part of my life and thoroughly enjoy it.
Cheers. To embracing all that life brings and to making living itself an art.
