I have always loved a good Thanksgiving tablescape. Any holiday gathering where the host has put extra thought into the setting is one of my favorite things! For our Thanksgiving table scape this year, we fell in love with the idea of a “Harvest in the Woods” dining theme.
The Set UpWe came across these round wood placemats at Pottery Barn and loved the idea of our meals being plated on these! From there we found round wood coasters and wood handle silverware to keep with the theme. In order to break up the monotony we added a bit of green via plants/candles.

Drinks:When it comes to wine, I like to think you can drink whatever you truly enjoy; however the sommelier enthusiast in me has to add that the best pairing with Thanksgiving dinner is:
RED: Oak Ridge Petite Sirah – This is a delightful full bodied and rich deep wine that can stand up to some herb rich dishes.
White:Tesoro Della Regina– This is a very delightfully crisp wine with a smooth finish. Perfect for a Thanksgiving meal.
Cocktail: The Old Fashioned*Please drink responsibly.
An all American crowed pleaser cocktail to serve would be the Old Fashioned. We have always loved old fashioned cocktails around here but we recently discovered the delight of making our base spirit Monkey Shoulder and our world has been rocked! Find the recipe HERE.
However you choose to celebrate, we hope you have a fabulous Thanksgiving, Darling!
