One of my favorite things about living in Grapevine is its “Old Town Charm”. Right in the middle of two major cities. Do you know what I’m talking about? The kind of place where you can take a stroll down main street, meander around boutiques, stroll in for a cappuccino or glass of wine… and sit on the patio to people watch.
Yes, that feels like home to me.
However, if I’m really honest with myself: I’m still on the hunt for what will feel like a “forever” home to me. As much as I love this little city in Texas, lately a little bug has been itching quite profoundly to explore different parts of the country. Almost to the point where I get the equivalent of Holly Golightly’s “mean reds.”
While I don’t have a Tiffany’s down the street that can make my “mean reds” go away, going out for a walk around the beautiful “quaint” neighborhood I live in helps calm my “Mean reds” down.
Right now that “Fall” weather is still nowhere in sight, I am continuing to “milk” some of my favorite summer looks. Like the crop top and skirt movement I’ve seen come back. To keep it casual for our stroll, I simply paired it with nude flats and a nude evening bag.I’ll keep you updated on how that little “travel” bug ends up affecting me. Perhaps I just need a holiday away. Perhaps I really do need to move. Until then, I’ll continue to take evening strolls around the city to help loosen my “mean reds” up a bit.
Happy Sunday to you! XoXo
