Last weekend I had the pleasure of being The Rose Table’s guest to the 2018 DSO gala. To say I was ecstatic would be an understatement. I love any excuse to dress up, and an event like this is equivalent to attending a modern day princess ball!
To make this night more memorable, we stayed at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas.
A classic choice for anyone who appreciates luxury without sacrificing comfort. Walking up and down the beautifully adorned corridors can make anyone feel like royalty here.
Our room greeted us with two cozy, luxurious beds, and all around spectacular views of downtown Dallas:
I particularly enjoyed the personal touches that were added to make our stay more special. Like the welcome note that was waiting for us upon entry; to the engraving of our names on their complimentary (and beautifully fragranced!) soaps:As the saying goes, the devil is in the details, and that is one of the many things this hotel gets right!
After prancing about the room, we settled into our comfy robes to get ready:Not forgetting to first pop a bottle of bubbly Santa Margherita Prosecco of course:
The Dress
I opted for a classic sleeveless white dress for the evening. White compliments my olive tone well, and with the weather still hitting warmer “summer” temperatures, I felt white an appropriate selection.
